May 11 ~ Mother’s Day Weekend - Sunday breakfast 9:30 - 10:30 (Mom’s eat free)

May 23 - 26  ~ Memorial Day Weekend - Come relax with us. Saturday- Kids crafts, Bingo, Horse shoe & Washer tournament. Sunday-Frog Jumping contest, Family softball, Hayride,” Huge Campground campfire. Everyone Welcome! (3 nights stay required on Holiday weekends)

June 15  ~ Father’s Day - “Donut’s with Dad” 9:30 - 10:30 (Dads eat free)

June 21  ~ Rags to Riches - 5:30 in the Rec Hall. Dress up in your best blue jeans for a fun night. (Ties & dress optional) Be creativity - prizes for best dressed!
Bring dish to pass and join the fun.

July 3 - 6 (4th of July Weekend)  ~ Friday - “Circus Days” 11:00 - Face painting, games, popcorn, clowns and lots of fun . 2:00 - Shuffle Board Tournament. Saturday 3rd Annual Duck Race - 1:00 (Meet at the River). 3:00 Horse Shoe Tournament. 8:00 Huge Campground fire - bring your favorite finger food (EVERYONE WELCOME) There are fire works in Rockford along with several surrounding communities (NO fireworks allowed in the campground.)

July 19  ~ Ice Cream Social - Socialize with your friends as you choose from lots of your favorite toppings. Bring your own bowl, spoon and appetite. $1.00 per person

Aug. 2  ~ 3rd Annual Corn Boil - Fun time for all. Check activity board for details

Aug. 9  ~ 3rd Annual Cook-off - Attention all men & women, come join the fun at Blackhawk Valley for our 3nd annual cooking contest. - 3 categories. Appetizers, Main dish, & Desserts ($50 gift certificate for each category.)

Oct. 1 - 15  ~ Sale - 20% off on store items. (Food items not included)

Oct. 4th  ~ Trick or Treat 4:00 - at your campsites, 7:00 - Pumpkin Judging Contest in the Rec Hall. Hot cider & donuts furnished.

Oct. 11h  ~ Chili Dump - Side dishes with be furnished. 6:00 P.M. (Bring your favorite chili)
